Back in 1996, we launched GENERATOR, our first-ever synthesizer and also the precursor to REAKTOR. We are looking for both organic, sampled sounds and organic sounding electronic textures. Native Instruments has released Twenty Five, a free-for-limited-time Kontakt Player library featuring a resampled collection of classic sounds from the NI vault. I realise that this might be a big ask as I'm aware of the large fees for making libraries functional with Kontakt Player, but worth asking!Īlternatively, is there any other decent software that could work with the project and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. ![]() ![]() So, ideally we need some libraries out there that are a.) free or at least very cheap and b.) work within Kontakt player. Of course, this adds up quickly and there isn't enough in the budget to buy so many versions of Kontakt and the libraries. The issue is that because there will be multiple instances of this performance, which will possibly be simultaneous, multiple versions of Kontakt and the relevant libraries would have to be purchased. During these we hope to have keyboard players performing sounds with Kontakt. I am working on a project with the BBC which will involve several live musical performances.
